2018 Newport Knights Future Champs Football Camp

Welcome to the 2018 Newport Future Champs Football Camp!
 
Have your kids join the fun this summer at Newport High School!  This camp is a non-contact camp, and is designed to teach the fundamental skills of football through fun and interactive drills and activities.  Students entering 1st thru 8th grade are welcome to attend and no previous football experience is necessary. The camp is divided by your son/daughter’s grade level for the 2018-19 school year, and will be tailored to the experience level they have with the game of football.


Camp 1 (Grade 1-5) 9AM-12PM

This camp is skills camp with an emphasis on offensive and defensive fundamentals in stations. We will place campers in small groups to maximize repetitions. Camp Activities may include: 7-on-7 fl ag football scrimmages, Punt-Pass-Kick contest, Tug-O-War contest, etc.


Camp 2 (Grade 6-8) 9AM-12PM

This is a team camp.  Campers will have offensive/defensive individual & group periods by position. Team concepts/plays will be taught during team periods. Camp Activities may include: 11-on-11 using practice shields and dummies.  7-on-7 passing periods, Tug-O-War contest, etc.

$180 allows your child to be supervised from 9AM– 3PM (Games/activities following lunch) 10% discount will be offered to campers who are already registered through Bellevue B&G club for Jr. Knights football in the fall

$120 pre-registration - Online until 7/16 using PAYPAL - REGISTRATION FORM 

$130 walk-up registration - CASH OR CHECK

(Camp gift will be included as part of registration)

What to Bring

Cleats Preferred (athletic shoes are okay), Water Bottle w/name clearly marked and Sunscreen

Where to Meet

Check-in at registration table located at the entrance to the football fi eld. Please fi ll out the Future Champs Permission Form and bring to the camp along with your PAYAL receipt or cash/check during check-in.  Parents are welcomed to watch from the bleachers.

2018 FamilyID registration is now Open

ALL PLAYERS that are turning out for Spring Football (including those returning players) to complete registration through Family ID which is Now OPEN prior to our first practice on June 11th.  This registration will also be good for clearance in the fall. In order for any student athlete to practice a registration through Family ID and Current physical is required, even in the summer.

Fall Sports: By registering now, players will be cleared for the summer and the fall season as long as they have a current physical that will not expire during the fall season. We you to encourage you to register now to get cleared – even if your player is not going to be a part of summer practices.
